Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior EHS professionals and perform and document jobsite inspections and audits with special emphasis on hazard recognition, unsafe behaviors, and correction of potential third party, asset loss and workers compensation losses.
  • Assist in the preparation and performance of safety meetings and training programs to ensure the effective communication of company policy and safety standards.
  • Provide support to superintendents on safety-related tasks and risk management issues that affect their projects.
  • Perform research on OSHA codes and other safety related items.

Education & Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a safety management program
  • Enthusiastic about learning the construction industry
  • Great communication skills both written & oral
  • Attention to detail, analytical approach to problems
