Job Responsibility

  • Perform line and grade work for building layout and control as required.
  • Utilize TopCon, Autodesk, Robotic Total Station tools to establish horizontal and vertical controls.
  • Assist in the implementation of the site safety program as required and ensure subcontractor compliance with R&H safety standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations.
  • Review contract drawings, specifications and shop drawings to ensure proper coordination and installation.
  • Assist in development of site quality control, manages the quality control effort in conjunction with the PM and Superintendent
  • Interpret and understand the comprehensive plan set and specifications.
  • Accountable for assisting the Superintendent in updating the Master Schedule.
  • Creates, and manages three-week production schedules with trades onsite.

Education & Skills

  • 1-3 years experience preferably in the construction industry
  • College degree preferred in construction/architecture/engineering or equivalent experience
  • Great communication skills both written & oral
  • Attention to detail, analytical approach to problems
  • LEED AP, OSHA 10-Hour, Revit/CAD experience are favorable
  • Commercial construction safety knowledge / training
