This role supports the Central Oregon team in human resources and general administrative functions. This role is the go-to person for questions in Central Oregon related to HR items and will help direct the questions to the appropriate team members. In addition, this is a small office where everyone wears several hats and supports one another.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for new employee onboarding in Central Oregon, including I-9 verification, preparing desk/worksite, working with HR Department to develop new hire training schedule, provide a welcome box, etc.
- In coordination with corporate recruiting, review resumes for Central Oregon, schedule interviews, participate in interview process and perform reference checks.
- Conduct HR portion of the new hire orientation for Central Oregon.
- Attend weekly HR Department meetings and be the HR liaison for the Central Oregon team.
- Assist with Central Oregon events (internal and external) in alignment with overall company events.
- Coordinate Human Resource related training events in Central Oregon.
- In cooperation with the HR Department, create and maintain a Central Oregon Career Fair schedule. Attend events, coordinate requirements, establish contacts and work with corporate marketing to develop strategic campaigns around the event.
- Track and audit HR information in R&H’s HRIS system.
Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of experience with human resource functions
- Excellent communication skills – written and oral.
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
- Sense of urgency to resolve issues.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Attention to detail, analytical approach to problems.
- Experience with HRIS system helpful
- Familiarity with HR fundamentals and complaince
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
