Elevating from Within: R&H Leadership
Throughout the last year, we have celebrated the promotions of several long-term team members into new and heightened roles as part of R&H’s strategic growth, continuous improvement and succession plans. This quarter, we would like to highlight Alan Loveday who serves as R&H’s Director of Operations for Special Projects and Interiors. During his 25+ years with R&H, Alan has worked in a variety of roles within the company, including his first position as carpenter and a longstanding role in our preconstruction services department. To date, his favorite R&H project is the Jackson Family Wines in McMinnville, Oregon. In each project R&H undertakes, Alan admires the team’s ability to “deliver exceptional service to our clients while being instrumental in making their projects truly work, both from a means and methods approach and by delivering exceptional value.”
Overseeing a staff of 25+ project managers, project engineers and support team members, Alan and his team work together to craft remodel, tenant improvement and renovation projects in a myriad of market sectors throughout Oregon and SW Washington. Projects within our Special Projects and Interiors group range from small reworks and minor remodels to $5M+ building renovations and additions. In 2018 alone, R&H’s Special Projects and Interiors group completed over 240 projects.
To unwind, Alan enjoys weekend getaways to Bend or Seattle and when more time allows, he heads to Hawaii to relax or New Mexico to take in the culinary scene and visit family.
