Headwaters at Tryon CreekPortland, OR
Headwaters at Tryon Creek is a master-planned housing development located off of Barbur Blvd. that emphasizes sustainability and affordability while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing, pedestrian-friendly living environment. R&H Construction performed many improvements to the site, several which center around the daylighting of Dolph Creek, a headwaters of Tryon Creek that was buried beneath the property. The daylighted creek is an attractive focal point for the three housing projects within the development: Headwaters Apartments, Dolph Creek Townhomes, and the Village at Headwaters. The Headwaters Apartments has two wings that are connected by a bridge overlooking the creek and together contain 100 market-rate rental units. 14 for-sale units form Dolph Creek Townhomes, a LEED Pilot Project. The adjacent Village at Headwaters is an affordable, independent senior living project with 56 units.
