The Inn at Dayton
Dayton, Oregon
Located in the heart of Oregon’s wine country, R&H performed a historic renovation and seismic upgrade of three early 1900’s masonry buildings—the Stuckey, Harris and Bank of Dayton buildings—and transformed them into a boutique hotel nestled above ground-floor, lease-ready retail spaces.
The buildings, now blended as one, include 12 guest rooms in a mix of layouts ranging from standard rooms to larger suite-style rooms. A two-story, ground-up building tucks behind the historic buildings, connected on the interior, and houses the hotel’s lobby and gathering spaces. Uniting the buildings is a central courtyard space for hotel guests to enjoy. With sustainability and preservation at the forefront of construction, the project is slated to achieve LEED Gold certification.
