Over the last few years, R&H has celebrated the promotions of numerous long-term team members into new and heightened roles as part of our strategic succession plan. We’re excited to continue sharing more about these next generation leaders through this newsletter including their backgrounds, roles with R&H, favorite projects, and of course, their go-to northwest haunts, hiking trails and more!

Adam Rainey was promoted in 2018 to R&H’s Director of Business Development. In this role, Adam works hand-in-hand with R&H’s Special Projects Group (SPG) to build upon client relationships through networking, bring in new projects, and serve as the face of the SPG division. Adam collaborates with a variety of SPG teams to pursue

uture projects, provide executive oversight, and assists in developing projects and their budgets from preconstruction through construction kick-off.
During his 9 years with R&H, Adam has worked in a variety of roles within R&H’s SPG department, as both a Project Manager and a Senior Project Manager. Adam’s client-centric role allows him to work with a variety of different architects on creative design projects bringing their vision to life through construction. To date, a few of his favorite R&H projects have been MUJI, Tillamook Portland Headquarters, Blu Dot, and Nike Action Sports. In each project Adam champions, he enjoys the possibility and challenge of transforming a unique vision into reality.

When Adam is not chasing projects, he spends time hiking and exploring new places with his family, playing tennis and hockey, and working on his next house project.
