Keen HQ

PORTLAND, Oregon

In 2012 KEEN Footwear needed more space for their office and retail locations, so they turned to R&H to construct their new headquarters and retail space in the Pearl District. Keen is a brand committed to sustainable business practices, as such, they set high sustainability goals for the project, including sending less than one dumpster of waste to the landfill. R&H worked closely with vendors like The ReBuilding Center and Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore to ensure items were re-used. The 5-story building was given a fresh new look, while keeping its historic charm. The ground floor retail space, the KEEN Garage, opened to much fanfare on 12/12/12.
