Ladybugs Academy is a 3,400 s.f. childcare center for children ranging in age from six weeks to 12 years old. In addition to classrooms, the facility features a play area, a kitchen and a front office. The play area is accented by a large ladybug mural, hand-painted by a local artist. The academy, located in NE Portland on Martin Luther King Blvd, is a part of Multnomah County’s Preschool for All initiative which aims to create free, high-quality, developmentally appropriate, culturally responsive preschool experiences.
