Mother’s Downtown Kitchen

Bend, Oregon

Originally an art gallery, R&H transformed an empty shell space into a third location for local favorite, Mother’s Juice Bar. The space in downtown Bend’s Oxford Hotel offers diners an updated menu with dinner options and extended hours for dinner service.
R&H demolished existing partition walls and ceiling framing and coordinated with the restaurant below to work in their ceiling in order to run necessary plumbing and power for the kitchen equipment. The new space includes all new partition walls, polished concrete flooring, a full kitchen, two new restrooms, booths, tables, lighting, and all point-of-sale and grab-and-go stained walnut casework.
The countertops were made by local Bend company, Eco Crush, which transforms post-consumer recycled content such as concrete, rock, and window glass into beautiful, environmentally-friendly, and durable engineered stone.
