R&H led efforts in the demolition of a 5,500 s.f. home and subsequent new construction of a new custom home with auxiliary dwelling. Extensive site work was performed to accommodate the home’s hillside location adjacent to Tryron Creek State Park. The home features an open concept floorplan with a nano-wall uniting a large deck space to the family room. Above the garage, a guest suite includes room for an office and a playful loft area accessible by ladder. A second, two-story structure on the property was constructed to complement the home’s design and features a workshop area, garage and second-story living space to highlight the homeowner’s collection of comic memorabilia.
