Named after the towering paper separator that previously sat atop Building A, the scope of work at The Hopper included a significant seismic upgrade and modernization of the campus, which previously served as a graphic arts production facility. The 167,000 s.f. four-building development is made up of three large warehouses and a corporate headquarters building.
R&H Construction’s headquarters occupies two of the four buildings, including a 34,000 s.f. shop & warehouse space as well as an 18,000 s.f. office. In addition to structural upgrades, the renovation included opening up the office space to create a modern, open and collaborative workspace filled with natural light and employee amenity spaces.
R&H will also perform the final tenant improvements in the two unoccupied buildings, with construction scheduled to start in late 2019.
