The Inn at Dayton

Dayton, Oregon

Located in the heart of Oregon’s wine country, R&H performed a historic renovation and seismic upgrade of three early 1900’s masonry buildings—the Stuckey, Harris and Bank of Dayton buildings—transforming them into the Merchant Block, a mixed-use development with ground-floor, lease-ready retail and a boutique hotel above.

The hotel, known as The Inn at Dayton, offers 12 guest rooms in a mix of layouts ranging from standard rooms to larger suite-style accommodations. A two-story, ground-up building tucked behind the historic structures connects on the interior and houses the hotel’s lobby and gathering spaces. At the center of the development, a courtyard provides a welcoming retreat for hotel guests. With sustainability and preservation at the forefront of construction, the Merchant Block is slated to achieve LEED Gold certification.
