The Matisse is a 274-unit multifamily housing apartment community that spans an entire city block in Portland’s South Waterfront District. Five stories of apartment units rest above ground floor retail and a 298-stall, two-level parking structure. The apartments range from 500 s.f. studios to 1,328 s.f. two bedroom units, all featuring high-end finishes. Uniting the development are several common area spaces such as a community room, business center, gaming room, a roof-top patio with a gas fireplace and grills, a public courtyard highlighted by a water feature and seating area, and a fully equipped fitness center.  The project received LEED-NC Gold certification.
