R&H is excited to announce that the Merchant Blocks Project, completed in partnership with Paul M. Falsetto Architecture, MKE & Associates, and Tim Rippey Consulting Engineers won the 2025 DeMuro Award!

The Merchant Blocks project, encompassed the historic renovation of three early 1900’s buildings in Downtown Dayton. R&H seismically upgraded and united buildings, then converted the second floor into a 12-room boutique hotel that now sits atop four ground-floor retail and restaurant spaces. The project also included the ground-up construction of a two-story building to serve as the hotel’s check-in and lobby spaces.
